Arc Leisure Centre Bolsover

The project involved the construction of a new leisure facility  on the back of the Bolsover District Councils Offices.

The facility comprises of an 25m swimming pool, An 8m learner pool, A flume, Thermal Suite c/w steam room , sauna & snail shower and a new village change was also introduced.

Upstairs situates a 100+ station gym, 2 dance studios and a spin studio which offers membership to both private members and students.

All areas including the Gym and Spin Studio are provided with heating and cooling from Heat Pump Air Conditioning units with condensers located at the rear of the new build. Ventilation in the restaurant, gym and studio’s are provided from a de-centralised local unit system. The village change & thermal suite ventilation are supplied by a central  bespoke supply and extract air handling unit incorporating heat recovery and located at the rear of the new build. The pool hall has a specialised AHU.

Lighting throughout is LED with presence detection  provided to changing rooms,. Feature colour change lighting is provided to the Gym Functional Training Rig and Weights Areas.
